The moon is our internal reality. It's unconscious. It's something that's just there. It's like a default way of being in the world. It's what we're drawn to, people that we're attracted to. This is the moon in action, and if we can refine this, if we can work with it, we become very aware, wow. This is an attraction that feels like it's on the soul level.

thank you so much for inviting me, Christina, so

Christina Wooten:

let's talk a little bit about how you got started doing this. You

Unknown:

know, I think, like a lot of people, I just got here, wasn't completely premeditated. You know, it wasn't like when I was young. I said, You know what I want to be when I grow up? I want to be an astrologer, and I want to talk to people face to face around the world that technology wasn't there. People weren't caught up with astrology. It was still a little, you know, considered a little fringe, and people you have to explain and defend yourself a little bit. But I've always been interested in the night sky and the planets and moon phases, of course. I mean, who doesn't fall in love with the night sky when there's a full moon, especially like in the summer, in the fall, when there's super moons, and they're so close to the Earth that you feel like you could practically hug it and and bring it into your home. It's just so, I think so imagination sparking. I like would dream about the planets. I did my first science fair, like in third grade. I drew all the planets, and I just started to get pulled into all these interesting areas of study. But again, we didn't have an internet so you really had to work to find sources and teachers back in the day, but I always had bizarre things happen, an incident with a Ouija board when I was 10 years old, just kind of blew the door off the hinges. And I realized there's something here, you know, when my grandmother's spirit came through that we didn't even know, and it was just the most amazing moment. And it just kept happening and happening. And I feel like there were these guides or this direction to lead me in a certain way, and it was really just about not just being in resistance and saying this, this can't be or I can't do that, or this isn't possible. But looking at, well, what would happen? What if? Why do all these quote, unquote coincidences keep happening to me that keep leading me on a certain path and introducing me to different people, finding teachers by quote, unquote accident, and that just my my journey began before I actually started studying astrology. It was just something that I had really wanted to do more than anything, and that was 40 something years ago, and I've just never stopped. But my great teachers are like. Science, because they give me feedback, and they really, they bring the theory to life. And you really get to see the myriad ways that just say a sun in Virgo could come out, or a Moon in Sagittarius. These aren't cookie cutter definitions or interpretations every single chart, and get ready for a big cliche. Here truly is a snowflake. They even when two people seem to have the same chart twins, they're different because they express differently. In our job as astrologers, it isn't just about memorizing what something could be. What is Capricorn energy? What is this kind of angle in a birth chart? But really using our intuition and allowing I could I will prepare for an hour before a session, I will have two pages of notes, the chart and all the upcoming planetary impacts. We call that the transits, the planets in the sky, how they activate, the birth planets. And I'll have all that prepared. And I get on a call like this, we never know where it's going. It's like what you love to say, how spirit shows up, how we allow it to move through us, and that's when the magic happens. And so staying open to this continuing, even at a mature age, to be guided through these higher realms by trusting the guidance that comes through being smart, not just not just saying yes to everything, but really getting out of our way and seeing what resistance is really about because when we stop resisting, I think the whole universe opens up to us. I think

Christina Wooten:

that's a really, really important thing. I hope people mentally highlight that when we stop resisting, the world really opens up for us. And I think that's so important. And thinking about what you are sharing so many people are intuitive, especially naturally in their work. So it's like even the accountant can be intuitive in their work. The doctor is using their intuition. The astrologer, you are using your intuition. So there's facts and thoughts that we have about things, but when you really understand the energy of something, it teaches you, and we become these magnetic receptors for something deeper to be able to move through us. And that, to me, is where all the excitement happens when the intuition is really guiding and supporting our journey in a bigger picture way. So often, many have lost connection with the energy that's flowing through our lives, influencing us on a regular basis, and we can see the physical impact that that's having in the world. We can see the tides, the different Moon processes that are happening. We can see the farmers used to plant by the cycles of the moon, because it really affected their harvest. You know they're not messing with their money and their harvest. And to think about how that's impacting our lives, it's impacting our bodies. It's impacting us spiritually. It's impacting us emotionally in big ways. How do we go back to honoring the energies that are flowing through? I

Unknown:

think it starts with the recognition that something's missing. You know, that we're just so busy, we're just always chasing, what's next, what's the next deadline? What's the next goal, what's the next, you know, project? And it's when we can really stop and say, Wait a minute, who's inside of me? Who's inside of this, this mind, body? What do I really what do I really desire? What do I really need? It's a whole journey just to get to a place of acknowledging that we have needs and that they deserve to be honored. And it sounds so simplistic, and it sounds so Wait. Is that true? I in my work, I find that it's very true. I feel like I'll be talking to women, young women, older, older women, I work with people in their 80s, and I think we really want to honor what our true essence is. And I do think there's a return to this. I think people are bringing more ritual into their lives. They're slowing down, whether they have a meditation, formal practice, or they just take time out to clear, clear the mind decompress. I really feel like we all have a, intuition, B, we have wisdom, and we know what our paths really entail. But it's not so much figuring it out. It's clearing all the stuff that we've just taken on almost mindlessly. I need to do this. I'm supposed to do that, and when we just start to we don't have to just get rid of it, because a lot of that stuff we still want to do. But there's this essential connection to nature, to. Of the earth to our own souls that we I don't believe we can get to it with all the noise, with all the distractions. You and I both operate virtually or on social media, and we work on these video conferencing platforms, and they're wonderful. These things are mind blowing. They connect us with people all over the planet, and there's a certain insidiousness to it, and we know this, and it's not an accident that all these things activate the reward centers in our brain. In spite of ourselves, we become addicted to this kind of connection. This kind of connection is beautiful. It's so important. And, you know, like anything, there's a shadow side to it. The shadow side, I think, is that we don't even have control over being able to stop it. So what I think, and this was your question, what? How can we do this, we have to recognize all the things that are influencing and not impacting us, and we have to decide I want to be closer to nature for myself. I'm not the world's best at this, but after every reading that I do with a client, not only do I exhale, I step outside barefoot, and I walk on the earth, and I'm near my trees, and I'm near my plants, and I I just get to be outside and breathe deeply. Now that's a that's a micro practice, but on a larger scale, being in nature, taking walks, being on the water, sitting in a park, doing the things we love, getting on a bike and just riding through a beautiful Bucha trail. It might seem like, how is, how does that help? It starts to offset all this digital pressure, get ahead, competitiveness, and the more space we give it in our lives, I think the more power it's going to start to take on another thing that I think is fantastic and this kind of an occupational hazard. Get outside and look at the night sky, especially if you're lucky enough not to live in the city. There are dark places in in the world, and that's wonderful if we can, if we can sojourn to them. But even if we can't get out to a desert or a high mountain, we can still try to find a place that isn't full of light pollution and just lie there and look up at the sky and watch, especially when dusk gives way to dark and the stars start to come out. Right? You know that that experience of, Oh, there's one, there's one. And to really try to tune in and feel the vastness, the infiniteness, the timelessness of this, of all that is, it can really start to shift how big a role our little problems. And don't get me wrong, people really have struggles, and I'm very sensitive to them, to my own. But when we start to see how vast this universe is that we live in, we can start to shift our perspective. We can also start to see that we're part of that that's not out there. We literally are part of that. We're made of the same star dust that the universe is made of. And this is where astrology comes in for me. Because if we know where that and we have these birth charts and planets in the skies are impacting them, there's got to be wisdom there. There's got to be insight, and almost like pulling back the veil on what our path is. But I think it's very important for us to remember that we really are these nature bound, Star Dust beings, and everything else is something that we're choosing, and the choice is always ours. I

Christina Wooten:

really liked what you called your micro practice, because I think that that's important is having touchstones throughout the day that refresh our spirit, that renew our connection with the heart, that make sure that we're moving with purpose and not just aimlessly functioning out in the world, that there's something really driving this meat suit every single day, and I was thinking about what you were sharing, I've started one of my micro practices is to sit outside and watch the sunset almost every single day. So I go outside and just enjoy and appreciate that moment and celebrate the closure. And I find that when I sit out, once it gets dark, if I, you know, follow that transition further and watch the stars and do shooting star hunting, because we live in Arizona, so we get to see all of that. When I do these things, I sleep so much better because I'm in tune. I'm in tune with that sight. Cool. It's it helps the melatonin, it helps something in the brain. And I feel so much more rested that evening. I fall asleep better. I sleep more when we're tuned to that it can really support us. You know, we forget sometimes that our body is meant to be in alignment, to be in harmony with these natural cycles, we're shielding ourselves from the elements or shielding ourselves from the outdoors, but they are here to support us, to help us, to guide us into a deeper respect for ourself and others. So I found that as I slow down and I've become more intentional, the further I've gotten on my spiritual path, the more it's involved me saying no to things, saying yes to other things. I choose intentionally to live more slowly, to recognize that that, for me involves priorities to sometimes I have to say no to something I'd like to do because it doesn't fit into the energy that I have chosen to express. And part of that slowing down process for me has been paying attention to more lunar cycles and softening into that when I make classes and plan for classes, you know, I'm always getting at my calendar for when are the Retrogrades happening? Where's the full moon? Where's the new moon? And coordinating and planning around that for people who maybe want to slow down but haven't really collected their micro practices that are working for them, if they wanted to start with trying to understand the moon, the cycles of the moon, more, what would you suggest that they really needed to know? What are the highlights that you feel are most important around the moon energy. You know, we got like, three hours, right, all

Unknown:

day, don't we? No, there's so many ways to look at it. There are the monthly lunar phases. And I think most people are familiar with at least what you said, Christina there. There's the new moon, the Dark Moon, which is associated with beginnings. It's a time for planting. Like those farmers, you could plant literally, and a lot of people do. There are a lot of people who garden or farm by the moon, and the New Moon is considered to be the most fertile. Wow. And it's when you want to plant things, you want to begin your ideas. But we can also talk about this metaphorically. It is very true that this is a time that you get a notion you're like, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to start to take daily walks, or, Oh, I'm going to start to eat a certain way. I'm going to begin to write a project. That's the time to begin it. And then there's actually eight lunar phases in every single month, and they get a little technical, but let's keep it simple. On the path from new to full, which is what everybody knows, I would think, right? That's about halfway through. That's about roughly two weeks. And so that moon that's getting bigger is a waxing moon, and it starts from a waxing crescent, and until we get to the quarter moon phase, which is a time to balance. And then we continue waxing, and then we're in the gibbous phase, which is just before it's full. And then at approximately that two week point from the New Moon halfway through the monthly lunar cycle. That's the culmination. That's where you might start to things might start to really come together. There might be a point of completion, ah, I finished that project or and these things go on and they continue over six month cycles, which are the eclipses, but getting a little ahead of myself. So it's not just every month, there's bigger there's like concentric lunar cycles, but then at the full moon, that's when we can say, Okay, I'm going to evaluate what I've done or experienced, and then we decide, do we want to continue it go more, or do we want to start to release it. And it's the same thing with women's cycles, our fertility cycles, right when we when we work toward, in that waxing phase, developing the egg that could potentially become a child, the baby, and then it starts to shed. And that's the time where, you know, women might have their menses and but also it's when we could start to release things that we've been working on. And then that second half, that's the waning moon, and then you've got waning gibbous then the quarter moon, where you look back on the month and you say, how are we doing? Do we still like this? Are we still engaged with it? What kind of response are we getting? Should we continue? Should we release and then in that final phase, that last quarter before we reach the new moon, and this is when you and I are born, both of us have a waning moon for our natal moon. And it's important to know your natal lunar phase, because it's going to give you a little more insight. Into your some of your natural tendencies get to that in a sec. And then we get into that waning, and then the very last phase, just before the new moon. It's called the balsamic phase, and that's really the time for rest, for meditation, to get quiet, to get still, to really bring it in, because this is leading up to the next new moon, in the next literal or metaphoric planting. Now there's other there's another really important thing every single, well, you could say month, but it's just an ongoing cycle when the moon changes signs every two and a half days. And we know that that's why you have a moon in sag or a Moon in Capricorn, because it's changing signs two and a half days when the Moon is about to change signs and it's not going to make an important angle or aspect to any other planet. We say that moon is void, void, of course, and that void, of course, moon and it's not, it's not something you can just guess off the top of your head. You need to have a little guide. You need to have a little cheat sheet, which you can find online. You could find it in various books, especially Moon books, and that could be anywhere from two minutes to a full day and a half when that moon is not going to make any other touch, any other planets, that's kind of like a dead zone. It's like in sailing, you're an iron so you're not going anywhere. So the understanding is, Exhale, rest, don't try to initiate something new when I'm making plans with people or booking something important. Obviously, I'm not going to do it during a Mercury Retrograde, but I will also check and I won't do it when the moon is void, because the understanding is nothing will come of it. It could get undone. So this is, I think, testament to how influential the moon is, even when we're not aware of it, right? This is happening, and when we can become aware of these things, we can get into alignment with it, just like you sleeping better when you've been out stargazing and shooting star hunting, if you will. There's something about when we connect with natural cycles that we're in alignment, and it's a very naturally organic healing process. And the moon is just one of the many planets that we can attune to, but because the moon is so close to Earth, it's our own satellite, and because it is so visible, and because it's so shimmery and silvery and poetic, and it's the stuff of song and literature, so many of us just feel a connection to it. So it makes sense. It's easier. It seems to track the moon. We often get to watch the moon rise, which has its own kind of energy. It can, it can bring forth our own emotional but I'm thinking more like it's a knowing. It's not a hunch, it's a full on knowing. And I think that there's a reason that the moon is it's always guided people before they even had the most rudimentary telescopes, because it was right there. And then we're going to get a new moon in every sign once a year, and then sometimes at the beginning of the year, the middle of the year, we'll get two new moons in the same side, at the beginning of the month, the end of the month, because it's only a 28 day cycle, so when it kind of catches up into that timing, you might Get two new moons, or two full moons, the blue moon, but because typically we only get one, what we're going to do is we might start something at a new moon, like just before the Scorpio New Moon. And so if we plant something new in our own lives, or maybe in our herb gardens around that time. Yes, we can look to two weeks later, but we can also look to six months later when we get the corresponding full moon, in this case, in Scorpio. So what kind of emotional or what kind of bonding, or what kind of trust issues that we're working with have come to a point of completion. So this was my image of kind of concentric circles of working with the moon you can just keep doing. Then there's this other 18 month cycle of tracking the quarter moon in the side and then the full moon, and then the closing quarter, and then the new moon, and that takes 18 months for it to be in the same sign. And you can find the most fascinating connections, whether in your own life or world events. So working with the moon, it's pretty deep, and I don't know if I. Say infinite, but it's pretty vast.

Christina Wooten:

Yes, yeah, can just keep going and going and going. You know, I was thinking that a lot of people, when they're initially starting to take the moon seriously, they're tracking some of the cycles. They're marking it on their calendars. They're thinking about it more like, all right, I'm really gonna do this, they're also thinking about manifestation, right? And so as you were talking about that, the time where you look back and you think, all right, the seeds that I've planted, are they moving in the direction that I want them to move in? How is it feeling right now? Is there something that I want to bring into a new cycle, or something that I want to release and let go of during this time, there's always the fear of, well, maybe I'm putting things out into the universe and out into the world that I'm not quite fully seeing the benefits or the results yet. So am I quitting too early? Am I saying, you know, maybe I should release this and let it go, because I'm not seeing something physical quite yet, but I'm wondering, what is your personal thought when you look back in your manifestation cycles that says, Okay, these are the check marks that say, yes, it's time to keep going. That's the message I'm getting. I'm moving forward in a way that feels like I'm in alignment. I'm moving in a way that feels really good for me. And also the signs that make you say, you know, I think I'm going to refine, I'm going to shift, I'm going to change it, I'm going to make an adjustment for the next cycle.

Unknown:

This is such a good question, because what you're I think, to me, Christina, what you're really talking about is, when do we trust the process and stay with what's really in our heart, versus when do we think we're like reading the signs and interpreting things correctly, that maybe we're heading down a wrong path? And this is where it gets really interesting, because it can be hard to know when our fears or our hopes are leading the way instead of some kind of internal truth. This is really tricky, and this is where becoming more and more connected to what's in our heart, connected to our own guidance, learning how to interpret guidance. For some people, especially clairaudient people, the guidance will come through like, Yes, do it in actual words. But for most of us, it's more of a sense, and it might possibly be a visual image that we get, but it's more of a sense. And because this realm isn't something we can prove like mathematics, this is Neptune's realm, not Saturn. Saturn is the physical, material, empirical world. Neptune is the dreamy, metaphysical, intuitive, divine, connected world. And when we're in the Saturn world, 3d reality, we we know the rules, pay your bills, you won't get in trouble. Stop at the red light, show up for work. This is Saturn, but when we start to get into this other realm of this is my calling. These are my dreams. This is my gift. This is my this is my service in the world, not as clear, especially if we feel like we have intuitive gifts that we want to incorporate into the work we do, how do we know we don't get that same clear feedback? This is the work. The work is developing our own knowing. How do we figure this out? This is, this is an ongoing question, and I think there's a lot of ways we could do it, continue to spend more time in quiet, in nature, not being assaulted by all these stimuli and distractions, because they will confuse us. We can't live like that. We're not monks or nuns so but what we can do is we can create sacred space and times where we really just do come back to ourselves. I think that it's really helpful to work with a teacher. You know, when you could work with a teacher for years, you could work with a mentor for a few months, or maybe six months or a year, maybe get into a program that really resonates with you and really ground yourself in this way of being, we have been reinforced in the Saturn way of being since we were tiny, unless we had like, hippie parents and we we were lucky enough to start to call be, you know, rewarded for coloring outside the lines instead of punished. But we we need to find what's true for us, and we need to find some way to validate it when we start to get better at it. We know there are people that work with cards, divination cards, you know, traditional tarot, or other forms of Oracle and divination cards. And. Can be a fantastic practice, pulling a card every day, or checking in on things, keeping a diary of what information comes back to you. Obviously, you know, I'm going to say astrology is great, because it can be especially if someone else you're working with someone else, they can give you validation. I mean, this is one of the biggest things. I always ask people their intention for a session. 50% of the time it's I just need some validation. Because I think I know, but I don't, I'm not sure, and the chart will give us some very clear indications of whether what they're talking about and pursuing aligns with what we see as their soul's purpose in this lifetime. I think people learn to work with other techniques, like working with pendulum can be fantastic when you're really not sure. You get clear, you set up the parameters ahead of time so that you're not going wait, I don't like that answer. Let me get right. We set it up ahead of time, and we practice, practice with the pendulum applied kinesiology, which is another way of letting the body's wisdom speak. You know, where you can either have somebody else press down on your hand, or you can, you know, there's a lot of different systems, like making rings with your with your thumb and forefingers, and seeing if it stays strong or comes apart, but finding the validation. I mean, this is what people have been doing from the beginning of time, is finding ways to work with natural cycles and natural phenomena to reinforce what we think, I mean, think about it, we're just like born in this world. Maybe we had wise and loving parents, people I meet, you know, in work there were, there were disruptions along that path. So we're all just kind of winging it, because is this right? Is this what I'm supposed to do? You know, for every electronic device in our house, we have a user manual, but for our psyche, no, it's just freestyle it, and that can be really confusing and overwhelming. You've just been through the last two years. You've just been through two of the hardest generational transits that a person is going to go through that can be really, totally disorienting. Like, how do you even know what's right? Everything that you'd been believing for so many years, decades, suddenly not holding water anymore? We have to reinvent and so, I mean, again, for me, astrology, this isn't just rules. This isn't just somebody else's opinion and our interpretation. It's how to really learn and internalize and interact with the nature the energy. It's really the energy and the vibration of the planets and their relationship to one another. We start to work with it. It really starts to speak to us, and it's to me, it's a very clear beacon on whether that is a good path. Maybe that's ego, and ego doesn't have to be a negative thing, but maybe it can be ego that's driving something. Instead of coming back and saying, Okay, let me start over, and I'm guiding myself too, but also what feedback I get from the universe, right? When everything goes wrong, it's usually a sign that you're on the wrong path. When you start something new and you go, I have no idea if it's going to work, and all of a sudden, yes. And then you get a job, and then you get a this, and then all of a sudden people are coming to you. That's usually the greatest sign that you're on the right path. I

Christina Wooten:

think that we do really have that if we're off, there's this really nagging sensation that no matter what, you just cannot get rid of. You can try, you can do all kinds of coping skills, positive and negative, and no matter what, it just seemingly won't go away. And then we know, all right, it's time for a much bigger intervention than maybe what we've been trying before. It's time to move into a different path. But I do love what you were saying about looking, looking for the deeper messages, and that some of that can be found in astrology, some of it is really found in connection with our heart energy and learning to develop that intuition to a higher level, so that we're listening to the different layers of intuition. That's what's happening in my body, how do my emotions feel about this? What's the sense that I'm getting about this experience that I'm having? What's coming forward, and what's the other feedback that I'm getting in my life around this particular situation, it's those things together can help us to really navigate a confusing world at times.

Unknown:

Yeah, increasingly confusing. I think I love that.

Christina Wooten:

So you're mentioning about when you're born and what the moon was doing when you were born. Can you talk more? About how that can influence us, because this is new information to me, and I'm like, Oh, I gotta look this up.

Unknown:

You know, I would venture to say that we all know our Sun sign. I mean, that's when we're born, and that's the part of the sky, the constellation that the sun was in, and that directs our outer life, our conscious life, what we create and how we how we express ourselves. It's extremely important. It's a big part of what our mission is. But the moon sign, and again, that changes every two and a half days. You can't guess, like, Oh, you were born in January. Your Moon must be no because, and it's not going to be the same on the same date on different years. This is something you have to look up in a book, which we call an Ephemeris, or really online in software, which pretty much, I think everybody on the planet knows how to find this information. So the moon sign speaks to our inner life. The sun is our outer life, our conscious life. The moon is our internal reality. It's unconscious. We can make it conscious, but it's it's something that's just there. It's like a default way of being in the world. It's what we're drawn to. It's the type of people that we are drawn to. It's what we what we go for, what we like to eat and when, if we're going shopping, what we just kind of always are going to be drawn to, maybe fabrics that feel soft, or certain colors or things. This is the moon in action, people that we're attracted to. And if we can refine this, if we can work with it, we become very aware of, wow. This is an attraction that feels like it's on a soul level, sometimes, yeah, we're attracted to people because of they say something clever, they seem funny or nice, or, if it's romantic, they're nice looking. But on a deeper level, the soul is looking to bring itself to to connect with its own soul tribe. People really on the same wavelength. If our wavelength needs a little bit of work, we're going to be attracted to people that reflect back to us, where we still have some work to do. And let's face it, that's all of us to different degrees, but the moon is our unconscious. It's not even conditioned. It's beyond that. It's deeper than that, and it connects to our emotions, our desires. And bottom line, it's what we need to feel safe in the world, safe and fulfilled. It also speaks to our connection with our mother, or the person who had the role of mother in our early childhood. And so the sign is going to describe certain qualities, certain innate ways of being in the world and and again, there's other factors that'll that'll boost it or mitigate it, but an Aries Moon is just going to be impulsive. Do it. Don't ask questions. Don't think about it. Don't talk about it. You certainly don't need to emote over it. Just do it. And a Taurus Moon needs comfort and safety and security, and I'll jump all the way up to Sagittarius for you is they need freedom, and they need truth, and anything that gets in the way of that there's no patience for so that will describe your moon one way another, way that we understand our natal Moon is the house. It's in the house, the 12 houses of the chart that's determined by your time of birth, and if you don't know your time of birth, this is why astrologers will encourage you to take all the possible steps to do that. Because we know where the planets are. We can look that up in a book, in our software, but to know where they fall, this is very significant. And the 12 houses represent an evolutionary journey, the human journey from being born and having a self in a body to the second house. That's the first house, and the second is securing it and starting to feel good about it, and developing our own values. And the third is how we communicate and express and realize, wow, it isn't just me. There's all these other little beings around, and that's the journey. And so the moon in whichever house it's in, is going to tell the sign will describe how it acts, what it needs, how it expresses, but the house will talk about the areas of life that are very, very important, where they need to feel secure, where they might have, where we might have a tremendous gift, and if it's involved in a challenging way, where there's, there's certain emotional lessons and everything, in the chart is for our evolutionary growth. Nothing is bad, nothing is bad, nothing is wrong, nothing is problematic. It's our unique way of experiencing what I like to think of as our hero's journey in this lifetime. And then what lunar phase are we born? During, because that's going to help us understand what our predisposition is in how we act. If we're born in a new moon, we can be full of wonder and excitement, and there's so many things to do, and I don't even know where to start, and I want to do that them all. But then, if we're born during a quarter moon, it's more about reflection and caution and looking backward and looking forward and weighing the possibilities a full moon is can be a very dramatic personality. It can also be somebody who's depending on which sides, they might seem a certain way on the outside, but really internally, they are quite different to what what they're expressing. And then the last, the final phase, which I'm born under the balsamic that's a sleepy, restful time. And the understanding is it can, it could take a little more effort to to get things going, to get things off the ground. I have a challenged moon. Is that a problem? And you see me shedding any tears over that? No, because it's the tough, you know, quote, unquote, the challenging things in our chart that are the motivators. When you have things a little too easy in the chart, people who have too much ease, they don't really push themselves. There's no need. Where's it going to come from? It's the people who have some of the classically most difficult charts, who have accomplished the most extraordinary things, and that's so important for people who do either know or find out, Oh, I've got this bad thing. There's no such thing as a bad thing that's bad astrology, your chart is absolutely perfect. And it's a perfect description. It's perfect reflection of the life and the path that you've chosen to come in, and we could grumble and groan and complain and resist and insist that we're victims and it's all a mistake. Or we can get busy and we can say, No, I got a vision. I know what I'm here to do, and if it doesn't kill me, it's going to make me stronger. Let's get on with it. And that is the whole point of astrology. That's why we call that evolutionary astrology. How does this chart show me the possibilities for my growth in this lifetime?

Christina Wooten:

I love thinking of the things that maybe give people trepidation in their chart for them to consider. Consider it a motivator. I mean, this is key. I try and think of it like that too, like this is a key for something to be able to unfold, or for new energy to be released. In my life, when you think about those little challenges, or even the big ones, wherever they come from, that it's a key for new and beautiful, powerful energy to come through, also that we can find a certain piece with not being afraid to be challenged, not being afraid about things being hard or things being difficult, that there really is a beauty and being able to express ourselves in different directions, in all ways, to the fullness of our vibration, the fullness of our energy. I love what you're sharing about all the different layers of the moon, because people really haven't looked at it. You know, maybe you've done your birth chart. You know, you've tried to learn about it. You've gone deeper with it. You've applied wisdom and validation like you were talking about in your life. You know, make sure that you've also done it with your spouse, that you've looked at your children, that you understand them, because knowing their moon sign, I think you know even your best friend can help you have so much understanding and how you can support them when they are going through difficult times, like what's going to speak to them in a meaningful way, and how you show up, what kind of sensitivity they need. I have to think about that, because I have the Aquarian side of me, and also there's some Sagittarius in there, so I have to be sensitive with some people. You know, I have a friend of mine that I have to really bring my sensitivity with me to connecting with them and comforting them. But I wouldn't know that without understanding the moon signs that are around me. So those who are listening, don't forget the people around you, because you can be a better friend, you can be a partner, you can be a better, more sensitive parent, just even in understanding that it's a beautiful thing. Yeah,

Unknown:

I love that, because that's another thing about the moon. It is part of what connects us. It is what attracts us to different kinds of people, and when we can honor what our moon needs, in terms of that, I think we can surround ourselves with the people that support us and understand this and allow us to give to them, and we get to use discernment of like, wow. I've been friends with this person for 15 years, and I. Suddenly, you know, and this happens frequently to people as they start to have their own spiritual awakenings. The thing that nobody talks about is what I call this spiritual collateral damage that we can't always stay friends, or the friendships can't stay the same with the people from our past lives. It's like when people get into recovery from any kind of addictive behavior, you can't go back to that old crowd. You know? They might think I'm going to get clean, and then I'm going to go, oh, I can't go back to those people, because there's something that pulls us down. And we don't want to be judgmental here, but we know what a higher vibration is. We know what, what the intentions of that are, and they do have to do with respecting other people. Freedom and addiction, unfortunately, is by definition, a low vibration expression of whatever it is persons in core energy we see it not caused by things in the chart, but reflected. The chart is a mirror. We we are the thing, but the chart is just a reflection. And so sometimes, when we're not really sure, well, how do I talk about myself? Or how do I understand this? Or if we're talking to another person, I would never just sit down with somebody randomly, and I'll just use the word analyze them. The chart is a brilliant diagnostic tool, and we have to bring like what you're saying, Oh, I have to remember, my friends, there's more sense, maybe more sensitive than I am. That's something that astrologers are always being reminded. Watch our language, watch our body language. Watch our tone. Let's not be, let's be careful not to project judgment, even sometimes with a facial expression, like if we gasp, that that's something we don't want to do. We want to be very, very neutral. We want to we want to hold space for the person that we're with. Everybody is on their own journey. Their journey is right for them. We're going to make smart decisions. We're going to make false steps, but we're all going to do it because we're all human together, but mostly our responsibility is not to fix or correct or instruct other people, unless we've been asked and perhaps paid to do that. But our work is to become our highest self, because in doing that, we put the highest possible vibration out into the world. And that's just that's like a collective contribution we raise, and it might just be a drop at a time, but that is raising the collective vibe when we're doing our work and putting it back out there, and people will be attracted to us. They will feel that, and they'll want to be friends with us, or lovers with us, or, you know, work with us, in in the spiritual work that we offer.

Christina Wooten:

I'm so inspired by everything that you shared with us today, I feel that there were so many nuggets that I want to sit with a little bit more, maybe bring it into meditation. I am truly grateful for all that you have shared. For those people who want to have some intuitive insight on their charts, maybe it's been a while since they've you know, had seen someone and had it done. Maybe they just want to check back in and get realigned with their life, or those who just want to go a little bit deeper in their journey with astrology. What is the best way for people to reach out to you for a session or for some of your offerings?

Unknown:

Thank you for that. Um, my website is called stars and stones healing. Because I also work with stones in my in the shamanic part of my work. So stars and stones healing.com, but Christina, you know, I know not everybody is just ready to jump right in and book a reading. If they are, that's fabulous. And I think we could do great work together, especially if people know their birth times. But sometimes people just really want to get a sense of I don't know if you could help me. Is this something Astrology can support me in? So I offer anybody who's sincerely interested a complimentary call with me, which they can book. Now this one is easy to remember. My name is Suzanne, and just go to ask Suzanne, like, ask a question. S suzanne.com and that will take you right to a place in my calendar where you can book a complimentary call with no obligation and just to chat a little bit about you. I know when I want to do work with new people. I like to get a sense of them, because, you know, people who aren't aligned can actually impede our progress, right? If people are coming they have a different perspective, different world view, it won't support us. And I'm never trying to talk anybody in anything. I'm just looking for how do I help people that I'm aligned with? That's my only mission.

Christina Wooten:

Thank you for offering that. I will add that to. Description wherever people are listening today. So if that's something that they want to do, they can have that deeper dive with you and see how it feels. And

I just had one last thing I wanted to mention, Christina somehow, which seems impossible. We talked for this whole time, and I never talked about how important gratitude is, because even when you are in a dark place, and we all have those moments, whether it's fear or loss or, you know, just a breakup or just a phase. You're going through dark night of the soul. We have to process it. We have to go through what we're going through. There's no bypass. But one of the things that I find is so helpful, and this is real. This isn't just like woo to develop a gratitude practice and to really tune in every day, whether you're taking 10 minutes and going through all the deep, beautiful, amazing things you're grateful for, or you just say, I got a busy day. But before I start, let me connect in my heart center to three things that right now I'm feeling particularly grateful for, just to focus on it and to find your own way of connecting to that gratitude. And some people are like, Oh yeah, I have a gratitude practice. And other people are like, give me more information about this, and so I just did a little talk, and I'm offering that free to all of your beautiful listeners that's available on my website. And it's just a little talk about the the importance and some and some tips and by a micro practice on developing your own gratitude practice.

Christina Wooten:

Thank you so much for being so generous with us, for being so generous with your knowledge and everything that you've shared with us. I am so grateful to dive a little bit deeper into some of the things that we've talked about, and know that anytime we can implement those things and we really, really start to shift our life in a positive way. So thanks again for being here, it
